And I cried spelling my name wrong,
I'm sorry but I couldn't stop loving you,
I'll pick myself up,
I'll hold the tears and put my notes away,
As you walk away from the foolish me,
The rain gathers on our faces hiding my tears,
You walk away,
I stay under the wet clouds,
My legs too hurt to run, for now, I'll stay,
Even though you didn't know
You were my everything,
I was right to be scared,
I wished I could keep you my secret,
You broke my heart,
It's ok, you can't fix it,
With bitterness,
I thank you for the days I had you in my mind,
And I cried as your name faded from my memory,
Don't worry, this time for sure, I'll stop loving you
